Developing a digital strategy for your organisation

This pre-conference workshop will take participants through the process of developing a digital strategy for their organisation. By digital strategy we mean a strategy that encompasses the essential questions: why use digital channels and technologies; what needs to be managed; and how to manage those components.

The workshop facilitator Steven Smith is a digital strategy consultant at KPMG. Prior to joining KPMG Steven had a consultancy company and worked extensively in the Australian cultural sector. In 1996 he wrote the digitization of Collections Consultancy report for the Australian Government and since then has worked with most national collecting organisations and has given papers and workshops at three Museums and the Web Conference in North America.
